Miyazaki wins Annie Award

TOKYO, Japan - Combination file photo shows Japanese animation director Hayao Miyazaki (L), and cartoonist and film director Katsuhiro Otomo. Miyazaki won the Annie Award for Writing in an Animated Feature Production for his screenplay for "The Wind Rises," the organizer of the event, known as the Academy Award for animation, said Feb. 1, 2014. Otomo was given the Winsor McCay Award at the event.
